Astronomical Series 1

2021/22

This series was my very first endeavour into the mixing of astronomical and abstract art. Although beginning with general inspiration and happy accidents, it developed overtime into paintings with more intentional and specific references to the astronomical objects that inspired them.

This series was the happy accident that turned my whole art practice upside down and changed the direction and intention of my work. Welcoming a new Anna, an Abstract Space Painter! My two loves had finally wound themselves up into one, no longer are my interests in art and astronomy separated!
